NL Visión was created around a simple belief: an optical practice should start with the person walking through the door, not with the sale that might come out of it.
The profession I wanted to recover
After years working in different optical models, I became very clear about what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to do differently. I am passionate about helping people see better, understand what is happening and make informed decisions. When the commercial side takes up too much space, it is easy to forget that this is also a healthcare profession. NL Visión was created to return to that starting point.
Training and professional judgement
I trained at the Universitat de València, studying Optics and Optometry and later completing a Master’s degree in Vision Sciences and Advanced Optometry. That training reinforced an idea that still guides my work: behind a prescription there can be much more than a few lines on an eye chart.
A consultation does not have to end with a pair of glasses.
Some people arrive convinced they need nothing and discover that an optical solution can improve daily life. Others think glasses will solve the problem, while the examination reveals signs that make another assessment advisable. In both situations our job is the same: listen, examine, explain and advise with your vision first.
